Today P1B and Dun Dealgan National School visited Bluebell Lane as part of the Shared Education Project. We all had an absolutely fantastic day. Thank you so much to Padraig and his helpers for making our day so memorable!
P1 are currently involved in a Shared Education Project with Dun Dealgan National School. On Tuesday Dun Dealgan came to St. Mary’s to participate in lessons around the theme of Folklore. Then on Wednesday we travelled to Dundalk where we joined in art and music lessons with the boys and girls in Dun Dealgan. We are looking forward to meeting up with our new friends very soon.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended the quiz in the football club on Friday night. It proved a great nights craic for both children and adults. It was also great to see some past pupils coming back to support St. Mary’s….thanks lads! Money raised on the night and from donations earlier in the week amounted to just over £600. A word of thanks also to the winning team who very kindly donated their prize money back to our worthy cause. This money will be added to the fund and will be used to purchase an outdoor climbing frame for P1 and P2 children. Many thanks to all those from the club who helped make the night such a success.
