Two very excited P7 pupils represented St Mary’s at a Cumman na mBunscol blitz in Derrynoose last week. They are pictured accepting the Cumman na mBunscol Level 2 award from Mr Gary Farrell, Armagh CnmB chairperson. It’s a great achievement as currently only five primary schools in Armagh hold this level.

It was awarded as a result of the work that St Mary’s does to promote GAA. Examples include the school partaking in matches & blitzes, running after-school training every week, having a strong link to the local club, communicating information online and in local press, having a visible GAA noticeboard, promoting the Respect Initiative and much more.
