Miss McDonnell & I have just returned from an Erasmus training course entitled ‘Social Media in the Classroom’. We spent the week in Barcelona at the Europass Academy of Creativity with teacher trainer Matt Johnston. This course focused on the use of social media as an educational tool to improve students’ motivation and engagement in lessons. We were joined by teachers from Germany, Bulgaria, Croatia and Hungary. We are both looking forward to returning in the new school year and putting our new found skills into practise back in the classroom.
