International Schools’ Award

We are delighted to announce that St. Mary’s has received the prestigious International Schools’ Award in recognition of all the work carried out by our pupils, staff, parents and wider community, as well as our partner schools around the world.  Its impossible to calculate how many participants have been involved in our projects some have impacted on schools with only 15 pupils, others 2,000+.  Schools as close to us as Crossmaglen and as far away as China, Nepal and Martinique!!

Miss Crawley our International Project Co-Ordinator was asked to deliver a presentation at the awards ceremony on Tuesday, detailing some of the work carried out through our Erasmus+ and Connecting Classrooms’ Projects.  The assembled audience made up of School Principals, members of the Inspectorate and officials from the Department of Education, (including the Permanent Secretary for Education, Derek Baker), were treated to a snapshot of St Mary’s school life with a slideshow of pictures showing some of the many activities staff and pupils have taken part in. We have included the link below for you to view ….we hope you enjoy the memories!
