Dear Parent/Guardian,
We have been informed of a positive Covid case in our P6/7 Classroom, (ie Miss Mulkerns’s class). Following PHA published advice for those young people aged between 5-17 years, close contacts who are not fully vaccinated should self-isolate and book a PCR test as soon as possible.
If the PCR test is negative they can end self-isolation and should arrange to take a second PCR test 8 days from the last known contact which was yesterday, Thursday 2nd, September.
If your child develops symptoms at any time they should immediately self-isolate and book a PCR test, even if earlier PCR test was negative.
If your child tests positive they should self-isolate for 10 days, in line with advice for confirmed cases.
