Congratulations to the recipients of “Pupil of the Week” in KS2. We heard at Assembly on Friday how they have been working hard and demonstrating good “thinkings skills” and applying these to their class work. Well done boys!
Yesterday was the first day of December and the beginning of the Season of Advent, a time of preparation for the coming of the Christ Child. At KS2 Assembly on Friday we all received a challenge to complete an act of kindness everyday between now and Christmas Day. Simple acts like: making a Christmas Card for someone who is lonely so that they know someone is thinking about them, or simply saying some kind words to someone. We have a “Calendar of Kind Acts” displayed in our classes to help us remember so good luck with the challenge everyone.
