Roald Dahl Day

“Roald Dahl Day” was marked across the school yesterday with a series of events in classes. A big thank you to Mrs Murphy our Literacy Co- ordinator for organising and for reading a Dahl story to everyone at our KS1/Foundation Stage Assembly….everyone was captivated by it!

KS2 pupils took part in the “BBC Teach” live programme and completed activities based around the theme of bravery. P6 even managed to squeeze in a quiz based around facts about Roald  Dahl’s life and books. Feeling inspired by Dahl, and as they had been working hard and the sun was shining, they took their work outside, following Dahl’s example as he famously worked from his garden shed.
