Our girls continued their successful Cumann na mBunscol season by picking up the Allianz Mary O’Reilly Shield today. The girls had to dig deep in both games against St Anthony’s Primary School, Craigavon and were thrilled to come out victorious in the Eire Og GAA complex.
This is the inaugural year of the competition in memory of Mary, who was a great advocate of LGFA in Armagh. Our girls demonstrated some of Mary’s fighting spirit by recovering from being eliminated from the cup competition last month, to eventually go on and win the shield final today.
