P7B embarked on their first outing of the year over to Tí Chulainn to view the exhibition on St Mary’s Primary School in Carricknagavna. The children viewed pictures of people who attended or taught in the school, which included some relations. They also looked through roll books and read stories about one of the old schools of the area. It was an activity that encouraged the class to value their sense of place.
