It’s really important to keep everyone safe, that while we start coming together that we remember to keep apart. This will be especially hard for children and they will all need some practice, to remember the distance. One of the best ways is for them to have a picture in their head of something that is 2 m so they know what 2 metres looks like.
So we suggest you measure together, so pieces of furniture around the house to see what they can find that is 2 metres. Or decorate a piece of wood or a strip of paper that measures 2 metres, any activity that reinforces the 2 metre rule and helps your child to understand what 2 metres looks like!
