It was lovely to welcome back 5 of last Year’s P 7 Group to receive certificates recognising their success in the prestigious Y.C.T (Youth Chinese Test), Level 1. We were delighted to welcome Yan Liu, Director of the Confucius Institute based at the University of Ulster to make the presentations.
The test requires students to read and write in Mandarin and the girls far surpassed the required 120 pass mark! Well done and a big thank you to Miss Candice for preparing them so well. We wish you all the best in your new schools girls and hope that the experience of learning a second language at St. Mary’s will stand to you, in your studies ahead.
