We are delighted to share with you the wonderful achievement of past pupil Chloe Marks. Last weekend, Chloe spoke at the “One Young World Summit” which took place in Belfast. With delegates from 190+ countries, Choloe shared the stage with many illustrious political, business and humanitarian leaders such as: the former President, Mary Robinson, Didier Drogba, former international footballer and Goodwill Ambassador for Sport and Health with WHO, Professor Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Sir Bob Geldof and H.M. Queen Rania of Jordan to name but a few!
A busy young lady, Chloe is a delegate for Youth Link thanks to a scholarship from SEUPB Peace Plus funding. She is a volunteer youth leader engaged in youth work, peacebuilding and a member of the Shared Island Youth Forum. Through the Redemptorist Youth Ministry, she has had the chance to travel through Europe and share her vision for a more, just, equal and peaceful society that pursues the common good.
Chloe is currently studying Social Policy at Queen’s University, Belfast and is hoping that her experience at One Young world empowers her to shape the world for the next generation.
We wish Chloe all the best with her future studies, we are sure we haven’t heard the last from Chloe!
