It was a busy day in Mr Mc Coy’s P6 for World Book Day, with a range of activities over the day…but the highlight was a visit from the author and illustrator of their class novel, John Farrelly!
John explained how as a child he loved comics, and that it was through comics that he learned to read. He explained that when he didn’t know the words the pictures always helped him out, maybe this is why graphic novels featured highly in P6’s collection of favourite books!
