The children in our SPL ( Specialist Provision for Learning or as we believe SUPER POWERED LEARNERS !) have made a wonderful start to this school year . The children returned from their Summer break eager to get started and excited to see staff and each other . We also welcomed three new pupils into our school family and they have quickly settled in and are very happy . Within the short few weeks back to school the class have achieved so much, displaying extraordinary creative talents, amazing mathematical minds, exemplary behaviour, spectacular speech development but most importantly new friendships are forming and lots of acts of kindness are being seen. As yesterday was SEN assistant appreciation day I would like to thank the ladies in the setting for all the hard work you do and the love and care you give the children, you are what makes our class click . This extends to all the assistants within St Mary’s, we are blessed with the best .
