Thankfully the sun shone for the P6 visit to Glasnevin Cemetery in Dublin. During the tour, pupils visited the grave stones of many well-known historical figures from our national and social history. They listened to stories of conflicts and wars and struggles of equal rights that have shaped our country which were enthusiastically told by the tour guides. The tour ended with a visit to the interactive exhibition area to view the collection of photos and artefacts on display.
