Well done to the five schools who competed in their South Armagh heat of the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Girls’ Indoor Football competition this morning. St Joseph & St James’ Poyntzpass, St Brigid’s PS Glasdrummond, St Moninna’s PS Cloughoge, Killean PS and our own girls from St Mary’s PS Mullaghbawn took part. There was some high quality football on display and the games were very competitive. At the end of proceedings, it was St Mary’s PS Mullaghbawn who finished top of the table and who will move on to the county final. Thanks to Silverbridge GAA for the use of their superb facilities and to Declan Carolan for refereeing.
