Update on procedures for collecting children from school in the afternoon
· From Monday 27th September the Nursery Car Park may be used by parents collecting Pupils from P1 & 2. This may help to reduce congestion at the front gate of the school.
· The teacher and assistants on duty will contact your child’s class teacher and call for the child/children to come to the front door. No one should enter the school to collect a child.
· It is important that the school crossing patrol has a clear line of sight to assist children and parents across the road at the point immediately opposite the front gate.
· The reservation along the main road should be clear of vehicles to allow a clear line of vision so the road crossing patrol can assess for any oncoming traffic.
