“Chapters and Chatter” – Nursery fundraising

 

 

Dear Family and Friends of St. Mary’s,

Once upon a time in a pre-school not far from you there was a Nursery staff who didn’t know what to do. You see, their outdoor play area had lost it’s sparkle and fun – the children cried “This place is done !”.

With no Government to aid us and cut backs galore there seemed to be no one to lift the project of the floor……….

But Oh No this wont happen In Mullaghbawn parish because we have the community spirit which can make this idea flourish.

You are invited to Afternoon tea with a twist.

“Chapters and Chatter”

Date: 4th March   Location: TiChulainn hall  Time: 1-3pm

In conjunction with World Book Day we invite you and your family to dress up as your favourite book character and join us for a magical experience of fun and frolics exploring books and enjoying treats. Sample Gruaffalo pie, Book worms and The Hungry Caterpillar diet to name but a few. Design cupcakes, face painting and many more games and fun stations.

Tickets prices are £5 per person and will be allocated on a first come basis. Tickets are limited and available from the the Nursery staff. The lucky person who purchases the 50th ticket will be the Golden ticket holder and will receive a prize.

There will be a raffle on the day and we are looking for local businesses to sponsor a prize. If you would like to help out with this please get in touch, any help would be appreciated on the event.

This is guaranteed to be a very special event offering families the opportunity to spend time together, have fun and enter the magical world of books.

Dressing up is encouraged but totally optional.
