A huge well done to the St Mary’s P7 pupil who represented the school in Downpatrick at the recent Environmental Youth Speak competition. The speech was filled with great content on the theme, “Brown is the New Black” and was delivered in a very confident, dramatic and at times humorous manner. It has really helped to highlight the importance of using the brown bin for food waste in our school and in our homes.
