P7 have concluded their topic on ‘Emerging Infectious Diseases.’ This topic forms part of a wider British Council Commonwealth project that P7 will contribute to throughout the year. There have been many fun science experiments relating to microorganisms. Today the children experienced how effective hand washing and using sanitizer can prevent the spread of harmful microbes. This was facilitated by Eve’s dad who provided a UV lamp and Glo-Gel for the experiment as well as delivering a presentation to the year group. It went down a treat.
