Monday morning saw musicians Jordan & Sam, from iRock, come to St Mary’s to treat our pupils to an energy-filled assembly. The musicians modelled playing the guitar, keyboard and drums as well as singing. Within 30 minutes, Jordan & Sam had pupils up playing these instruments as a band.
All pupils in the school were given an information leaflet home on Monday. A digital copy is attached below. Parents can express an interest in signing up to iRock, and if there is enough interest, then weekly lessons may be established.
Thanks again to Jordan, Sam and also to Niall for coming out to school and providing a great experience for the children of St Mary’s.
