KS2 Fund Raiser

Dear KS2 Parents,

On Friday coinciding with the Annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic, KS2 are planning a number of “teddy themed activities” to raise money for the U14 Camogie Team who have qualified to take part in the Feile, in Cork in June. As well as many past pupils, the team includes 10 of our current P7 class. They need to raise around £6,000 to fund their travel and participation in the event. So on Friday, the KS2 classes: P5, P5/6, P6/7 and P7 will take part in fun events including:

Sphero Races– can you keep your “Sphero” on track and navigate it around your bear and back

Teddy Relay– a twist on a relay race but using Teddy as a baton

Teddy Tucker Sale– cake + bun sale

“Selfies” with your Best Bear-

Pair the teacher to the bear competition

As well as Spot Prizes for: “Best Dressed Bear” and “Best Co-ordinated Bear and Owner”- (To facilitate this, it can be non-uniform for KS2, but we recommend clothes suitable for taking part in outside activities.)

We are asking pupils to make a donation of £3 to take part in all the activities, this includes a £1 to spend on goodies at the Cake sale.

We are looking for donations towards the cake and bun sale, home baked, bought… we don’t mind. They can be dropped off with Miss Mulkerns, tomorrow or Friday morning.

We hope if we have enough goodies to cover all KS2 Pupils, to then open the sale to everyone at the 2 o clock pick-up.

Thank you for your help with this and we extend our best wishes to the girls and their manager for June.
