We have been very busy over the past six weeks in the Nursery. We welcomed Francis Murphy from “Over the Bridge” Arts club into the class for an exploratory clay session. We produced a beautiful, colourful array of our own wellington boots prints.
The Nursery enjoyed an interactive, fun and innovative presentation by “Small Talk NI”. The focus of the presentation was developing listening and concentration skills. All children were fully engaged at all times and we were delighted to be introduced to new teaching strategies which we have been with success since.
“Fruity Friday” gave us the opportunity to sample and widen our taste buds to a colourful range of everyday and more exotic fruits.
Thanks to Nursery pupil Patrick for bringing a much needed touch of Spring to the class, with his adorable chicks who seemed to be quite content to stay with us for the day !!
Picnics in Ireland !! It didn’t matter that we needed our coats and hats we still enjoyed our Teddy bears picnic outdoors.
