Today the Nursery class made the walk over the bridge to the Spar Mullaghbawn. We went to the post office at the back of the shop where we were greeted by Grainne. We bought a stamp, placed it in the top right corner and posted our letter to Santa. We really hope he lets us know if we are on the nice list – our teachers are sure we are! The children were super and showed great road safety as we made our way there and back.
We were singing some lovely Christmas songs in the shop and had a great morning. We would all like to thank Grainne for her patience and all at McCreesh’s shop for their generosity this morning as each child received the lovely surprise of a bag of sweets each.
