P6 had a great time yesterday learning about St. Brigid at Faughart Shrine, Faughart Graveyard and at the St Brigid mural in Dundalk.
They took the opportunity to extend their Irish vocabulary checking out the signage for the Irish words, “cloch chinn” headstone, “cloch gluÃne” knee stone etc.
Lots of learning took place as well as practising Irish: local History, mapwork, Art and RE. and even Maths!
