On Friday past, St Mary’s welcomed Olympic swimming athletes Joe Roebuck and Amy Smith to the school for a very special morning of activities. All classes took part in high-energy fitness circuits led by Joe and Amy, before the whole school gathered for a special assembly. Joe spoke about his own sporting journey, as well as the importance of following your goals and not giving up! The pupils all appeared to have a great day and we wish to thank Joe and Amy, as well as the entire Sports for Schools’ team for their efforts in delivering it.
