At KS2 Assembly this morning we watched a short video explaining the focus of this year’s Trocaire Appeal. This year’s box features photos of 3 children: Maria from Guatemala, Patricia from Uganda and Maya from Lebanon. We heard about their lives at Assembly and how we can help them by making donations over the Lenten season. Money is used to buy seeds so their families can grow food, to provide water in their schools and to help make their countries a safer place for children. Boxes have been distributed through classes to the oldest in families, we hope everyone will place their box in a prominent position and share what they have heard this morning at Assembly with their families.
