To mark World Book Day we are encouraging every child to bring their favourite books to school share personal reading choices and recommendations with their classmates. Each child will be given a book token for a free book which can be redeemed in Waterstones or at the School Book Fair next week.
We are delighted that local author John Farrelly will visit classes tomorrow to talk about becoming an author and introduce his latest release “Vikings”
Pupils who wish to dress as a character from a book are very welcome to do so, but it is entirely OPTIONAL and there is no charge for this non-uniform event.
