The Nursery staff and children came to school dressed up as a character from their favourite book. The photographs below show the children going on a story walk of one of my favourite Julia Donaldson’s books Room on the Broom. The children collected a prop associated to each page as they walked their way through the story. They used the props when we went back to class to help them sequence the story. All of the Nursery staff and after school staff were really impressed with the children’s ability to retell the story using the props
