To mark Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Activity Week 2023, St Mary’s hosted a range of events and activities.
Pupils designed new versions of their club or county jersey, wrote about their favourite players, took part in the zoom quiz organised by Mr Madine from St Patrick’s PS Crossmaglen and P6/P7 pupils played out the annual school county blitz. The whole school also took part in a jersey day on the Friday to mark the occasion.
There were also medals presented to our girls’ football team, camogie team and boys’ football team, for the Malachy McGeeney, All County Blitz and McGreevy Shield competitions respectively, from this year. It was great to have so many P6 and P7 pupils competing and achieving out at inter-school competitions.
Well done to all of the children who took part in the activities and thanks to all of the staff members who helped to make it an enjoyable week in the school. Thanks also to Cumann na mBunscol Ard Mhaca for organising the week and all activities throughout the school year.
