A group of ten P7 pupils attended the Newry heat of the Athletics NI Indoor Sports Hall Competition yesterday. The children got to try out new events in first class facilities.
The boys team came third in the team relay, a group of six pupils came third in the mixed agility relay, one pupil finished third in the girls’ speed bounce and another pupil came third in the boys’ endurance run. All pupils received certificates of participation which will be presented at assembly on Friday morning.
Well done to all of the St Mary’s participants and thanks to Athletics NI for organising a great day.
