Do you remember Maija, our Finnish Language Assistant?
Maija, who is now teaching in Austria, returned to Mullaghbawn for the long weekend to visit the area and of course to support Armagh on Sunday!
Decked out in her Armagh Jersey, Maija reminded us of the many adventures she had while teaching in Mullaghbawn. Not only did Maija teach German to all classes from Nursery to P7, she accompanied our School Choir on their visit to Knotty Ash Primary School, Liverpool and the P7 year group on their Residential Trip to Newcastle.
It was lovely to hear Maija talking fondly of her year spent in St Mary’s and especially the pupils who she taught during this time.
We know our present Slovenian, Erasmus Assistant, Maruska will have just as many memories
of St Mary’s.
