Primary 7 had their Irish News GAA Coaching Day today. Thanks to Gavin and his team of coaches from St Mary’s University, Belfast for running a fantastic workshop in the key skills of GAA. It was great fun and all of the boys & girls gained a lot from it.
Pupils were given free Strathroy milk and also got the chance to hold the Sigerson Cup, which St Mary’s won earlier this year. Keep an eye out in the Irish News as there will be a special report with photos, at some point in the near future.
Finally, a huge thank you to everyone in the school and wider community who helped us collect the tokens needed to secure this prize. It definitely was worth the effort!
