Today saw the conclusion of a busy few weeks for the JRSO team. The officers carried out a “safe-crossing workshop” for the Nursery class, teaching them about the role of the lollypop lady and how to cross safely. At assembly the team announced the winners of the competitions that they set before the Easter break. They found it very difficult to choose from all of the wonderful work. Winners received a certificate and a hi-viz jacket to protect them when walking outside of school. Our JRSO team hope that all of these activities help to promote safe behaviour when out and about!
- Foundation Stage completed a “Green Cross Code Breakers” task
- KS1 completed a “Spot the Hazards” task
