We were delighted to welcome P7 pupils and their parents to the Transition Programme delivered by REIM Training Solutions. The programme introduced pupils and their families to support materials as they prepare for the move to Post Primary School.
During Workshop 1, pupils had the opportunity to discuss and complete activities which focused on exploring New Friendships; Understanding and dealing with Stress, Anxiety and Depression and Communication..
Parents / Guardians joined their child for the afternoon session to work together to explore ways in which they can minimise stress associated with the move from primary to post-primary and to discuss the changing dynamic in families as pre-teens gain independence and responsibility.
