On Friday 3rd March the whole school came together for a special assembly to celebrate World Book Day. It was wonderful to see such an array of costumes. We are trying to encourage children to read more for pleasure rather than seeing it as a homework task. At the Assembly each teacher nominated students from their class who are natural readers and they received a certificate in recognition of their reading ability.
