Dear Parents,
Next week on Thursday 7th March we will be joining in the celebrations for World Book Day 2024. As a school we endeavour to foster a love for reading all year round by exposing each child to a variety of books, genres and reading audiences.
So next week we invite each child to come to school dressed up as their favourite book character. All classes are welcome to particate. Please do not feel the need to purchase a costume. It is also no problem if your child wants to come to school in their uniform.
We ask that the children bring in their favourite book to discuss their choices with their classmates, to encourage conversation about their most cherished stories.
We look forward to seeing all the different ideas and costumes next Thursday.
