On Thursday 7th March, the whole school came together to celebrate World Book Day. It was wonderful to see such an array of costumes. We are trying to encourage children to read more for pleasure than seeing it as a homework task. We had Star Reader awards, riddle work, a Where’s Wally trail and quizzes that every class enjoyed. A big thank you to Sinead from “The Art and Design Factory” who organised fantastic art lessons for the whole school on Wednesday and Thursday. It was a wonderful day from start to finish!
