“Good Friday” by P3

For today, “Good Friday” we thought we’d share with you some of the learning taking place in Mrs O’ Hagan’s P3. Over the week pupils had been learning all about the meaning of Easter and during playtime using playdoh all that learning spilled out as they talked and discussed together about Jesus dying.

They shaped a crucifix and figure to represent Jesus dying on the cross and after much discussion decided their figure needed nails, a crown of thorns and “a sad because Jesus died for us cake”.

Then reverting back to Easter and thoughts of chocolate added the “Easter Bunny”!

As it is Good Friday, you might like to view the video for children linked below, it explains, the Stations of the Cross and is taken from the Armagh Diocese website.
